Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has been proven to be a powerful and useful tool in analyzing morphological samples at both macro and cellular level. The idea behind it is to train a model based on human experience. In return, the model would be able to discern the information from new sets of data as human experience dictates. Therefore training data is important for achieving eventual good outcomes.

We have obtained some training data from our customers, which allowed us to build the basic models for muscle fibers, trabecular bones and osteoid. Additional training will further improve the models. Our software HistoAI allows editing and correction of AI-generated tissue masks, which can be used as additional training data.
